Butterfly Run 2025

The Peterborough Butterfly is an annual spring event, that supports families and individuals who have experienced pregnancy loss, child loss or infertility.  This event is organized by the Greater Peterborough Health Services Foundation in partnership with the Partners in Pregnancy Clinic and a dedicated executive committee. During our time volunteering we were preparing the race kits for the participants in the run. Funds raised during event go to support the purchase of bereavement kits.  Since 2018, over 800 kits have been distributed - containing comfort items, memorial items, and grief resources.  These kits are then distributed via healthcare providers to families who have experienced a loss.

Campbellford Food Share - Bottles for Bounty

On June 27th, 2025 along with our friends from RBC Royal Bank we collected, sorted and returned empties to collect funds to purchase items in need at the food bank in Campbellford. We collected $116 in empties which accompanied our $1500 contribution from our Communities Together Fund nicely for a total contribution of $1616!   Did you know... 1 in 4 households in Canada have experienced food insecurity in that past year!  That is approximately 8.7 million people, including over 2 million children!  So many are struggling as we are trying to do our part to help ease the demand.
